• Change your locks. If you have just purchased a new home or you are moving to new business premises always have your locks changed you don't know who else could be holding a key. This is a good time to look at your security levels and up-grade the locks.
• Lock up-grades.  Upgrading your locks on your home or business is also a good way of making your property more secure, ensure that all windows have sufficient locks fitted that are key lockable. Make sure that all locks fitted to all external doors are approved to BS3621, 2004 as requested by your insurance company.
